It is easy to clean the strip as the tiles below remain clean. It absorbs any small splashes which is of great help. I bought one to check. Positively will order for 1 or 2 to cover up the remaining area along the kirchen counter

Love this product.
Three things go in its favor :
a) Dark color so it doesnt look dirty like how other light colored ones would.
b) A good softness and thickness to it, so your sure you wont feel it wet with small water splashes falling on it.
c) Good grip, it doesnt slip.
I have not washed it yet, but so far its been the best runner I have purchased via website
The mats are really good ...and anti slip...ordered a runner for my bedroom space and then decided to order door mat..
